We can audit your driver log books.
While this service does nothing to fix the logs as submitted, it is a tool to use with your drivers to make sure they are completing the logs properly as time goes on.
Our customers send us their driver log books - generally once a month (or whenever they decide to!) by priority mail or UPS.
We go through the driver logs, entering the hours and mileage data into a spread sheet. (Sample of Driver Log Spreadsheet

From this spread sheet we look for 60/70 hour violations and average speed calculations.
We then go through the logs, page by page, and prepare reports for you to share with your drivers. (Sample of Driver Log Audit)
We check the logs for unnecessary things the drivers are recording—which hopefully will save them some time and writer’s cramp!
We compare the average speed calculations from the spread sheet with the state speed limits where the driver was operating. This is not as detailed an analysis as a DOT auditor would perform, but it is a good reality check.
We look for 11 hour and 14 hour violations and any entry errors on change of duty status location entries.
If you provide us with fuel receipts or toll receipts, we will also check these against the logs to make sure they agree.
For this service we generally charge $12 per driver per month. (We generally send the logs and the reports back to you the day after we receive them.)
(A partial month gets a partial charge.)
